Appreciative Managers draw on and amplify the strengths of themselves, their staff, clients, organisations and community!  New ways of managing are emerging which focuses on 'what works', rather than on 'what doesn't'.

An ancient proverb says that whatever we pay attention to grows; paying attention to something invests it with more energy.  So why not focus on our strengths?  Appreciative Managers pay attention what they value and bring out the best in people.  This requires a shift from a mindset that looks for problems or deficits to one which builds on strengths, celebrates success and leverages learning and performing to the highest level.

We are conducting a two day workshop in ARARAT, Grampians Region August 4th & 5th 2011.

The Allied Health Mentoring program is funded by the Department of Health and forms part of the Victorian Allied Health Workforce Recruitment and Retention Projects.

Participation in this program is recognised as CPD hours.

To be eligible to participate in this program, Allied Health workers must have taken up positions in publicly funded health care organisations or community services in rural and remote areas of Victoria.

NOTE: Places are limited to 15 workers.
