Evidence suggest Mentoring can assist you in the transition from university to the work place and to becoming fully effective in your role. To be eligible to participate in MentoringWorks graduates must have taken up positions in publicly funded health care organisations and community services in rural and remote areas of Victoria. Graduates are defined as those in the first two years of their work life as an allied health professional. Eligible allied health graduates include: Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Audiologists, Dieticians, Hospital Pharmacists, Psychologists, Medical Radiation Therapists, Radiographers, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Music Therapists, Medical Physicists, Medical Laboratory Pathologists and Scientists, Orthoptists, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Health Promotion Workers and Social Workers.
